In pitorescul orasel belgian Bruges ajung doi asasini platiti, Ray (Colin Farrell) si Ken (Brendan Gleeson), al caror scop este sa-si piarda urma printre turisti dupa o misiune terminata prost. Desi se simte nelalocul lui printre cladirile gotice, canale si strazi cu piatra cubica, Ken este atras de calmul locului si incearca sa-si linisteasca partenerul, pe Ray.
