Anul 1950. Razboiul coreean este la apogeu. Un pilot american se prabuseste langa un sat mic si izolat, localizat in munti. Intre timp o trupa de soldati Nord Coreeni sunt atacati si doar trei supravietuiesc croindu-si drum printre munti. Un soldat dintr-o trupa Sud Coreeana care a dezertat intalneste un alt soldat in aceeasi situatie. Toti acesti soldati se intalnesc intr-un mic sat numit Dongmakgol, unde satenii nici nu stiau ca in acel moment este razboi...
